"I started drawingsleeping figures in my paintings from my university days.
Initially, it stemmed entirely from my fascination with sleep, but over time, the meaning deepened. It has been enriched with themes such as sociological, psychological, religious, political, social, individual, and melancholic slumbers. Even though I currently wish to create freely, without sticking to a
particular subject, my mind and hands naturally gravitate towards sleeping figures. That's why Idraw in the way my heart and hands desire."
