Kübra Müjde at Baltic Open Submission 2024

We’re thrilled to share that Kübra Müjde is featured in the prestigious Baltic Open Submission 2024, running from 16 March to 1 September 2024. This exciting exhibition showcases over 100 artists and makers from the North East of England, offering a glimpse into the region’s diverse and vibrant artistic scene.

Among the works on display is Kübra Müjde’s Sleeping Girl (2021), a captivating portrayal of serene slumber. In this piece, a young girl surrenders to the enchantment of her dreams, embarking on a mystical journey through a kaleidoscope of colours, shapes, and emotions. With her eyes gently closed, she ventures into the depths of her subconscious, exploring uncharted territories and blurring the line between reality and imagination.

Kübra invites viewers to join her on this ethereal odyssey, where the boundaries of possibility fade away and the power of dreams reigns supreme.

This year’s exhibition features over 1400 submissions selected by an expert panel of musicians, curators, and artists.
